"He is as good as I have seen," coach Bill Doba said. "There were a lot of times I thought we had him but he ran right through our arms."

kinda lofty praise i thought...

Doba is a character:

Washington State coach Bill Doba: "If you've got a linebacker covering him, you might as well start singing their fight song."

In regards to Reggie after WSU's humiliating loss to SC last year.

Carl Stewart and Brad Lester ain't too shabby either, but Irons > Bush...we better hold off on that, lest we jinx the whole shootin' match.

Great hanging out with you for tasty beverages after the game, Jonesy! :)

Auburn's next game is against Miss State. State fans have a tradition of ringing cowbells at their games. Hence, more cowbell.

Sure. Now it makes all the sense in the world...

Thanks, Grem!

TAG, give us the rationale for this weeks Avatar.

It's from the Saturday Night Live skit with Will Ferrell and Christopher Walken from a few years back.

Google up "More Cowbell" for the Wikipedia synopsis, then make the connection knowing that Mississippi State's fans sport cowbells as noise makers at games...

Stupid? Yes.
Prophetic? Likely.
Predictable? Absolutely.

Love it!

I like the idea of having an Avatar that's a weekly theme. You guys keep winning (like I know you will) and you'll have to continually be creative...

Hey, if i'm not known for my wild accusations and hyperbole, what the hell am i?

'preciate seeing some board members out around the loveliest village last night. We even managed to show WSUDEFENSE what women are

There is no reason that we all can't do this, this changing of avatar's weekly to sport "theme week", as we individually see the next week's outing against a particular foe.

Besides, I'm phucking sick of these haikus, and we desperately need a new shtick around here.

Careful. You're making a comparison to mgdGT now. Is that what you want?

He's been up all night after the GT game, is still drunk as hell, and is sporting a shiner from a fight he got into with some Notre Dame fans. He called and left a VERY slurred voice mail...something about tequila, gunfire, and...goats.

Ohhhh, we saw it. All morning, afternoon, and night. What was particularly funny was seeing the reaction of male WSU fans as they strolled about the campus generally. A sampling of overheard comments:

"Damn. Just...damn".

"OMG, is every chick down here a porn star?"

"Wait, have we died an gone to heaven without being Muslims and having to blow ourselves up?"

"That's it...I'm transferring"

I realized after living in East Tennessee for 3 months that I take living in Auburn for granted.

You should know by now nev-ar to take Auburn for granted, for anything.

That place is an oasis of ape-shit acting, jungle monkey sex-having, drunken riots galore, college football worshiping, flunking out of directed studies my kind of town, to paraphrase Frank Sinatra.

God Bless America, and God Bless Auburn University.

Hey man, you live here for 4 years and you get complacent. There's no way to fight it. Luckily, i've been reinvigorated.

Think that'll merit up any comparisons to Reggie Bush?
